Whether it be hanging in the sun room or hanging by the hydrotherapy pool, this is a perfect place for a weekend spa getaway for girlfriends. Going to the spa was my chosen activity for my bachelorette party to spend time relaxing and hanging out with all my bridesmaids. Waxing Hair Removal Services
As an Italian, let’s just say we’ve got some hair stuff going on. Lol. Needless to say, I’ve been through my fair share of hair removal options. While I don’t recommend one option over all others, I would say it really just depends on what you are looking to do that will determine which hair removal option works best for you. At La Bella Spa, they have all the options to choose from like waxing hair removal services to laser hair removal services as well as electrolysis. If you are not sure which option would work best, then just chat with any of the friendly staff to learn more.
Laser Hair Removal Services
If you are like me and get terrible razor burn, then laser hair removal may be a great option for you. After many years of shaving my bikini area only to get terrible razor burn which looked like a bumpy rash or would end up bleeding like a scratched scab, I was done. I couldn’t imagine keeping that up for the rest of my life especially when we get so many warm months of the year here in Florida. So, I went to my go to, La Bella Spa and got signed up for laser hair removal services.
They are always honest in their recommendations to you of what can and can’t be done as well as what to expect. The amount of laser hair removal sessions to achieve complete hair loss really depend on a lot of things like hair color, hair type, body location, and rate of hair growth. Most people do need multiple sessions to achieve the desired results. I know I did. In the end, I’m so glad that I did it. Now, I never have to shave my bikini area or get razor burn again. While I do have some minor hair growth back which is often expected, my hair is thinner and lighter in color than before. Now it can easily be removed with a hair buzzer rather than a razor which doesn’t affect hair re-growth and doesn’t leave me with razor burn.
One of the other things I love about La Bella Spa especially regarding their laser hair removal services is that they are always using the best of technology. While most dermatologists or other offices use a laser hair removal machine until it breaks, La Bella is replacing their machines if there are newer and better options available on the market. It’s this level of care and dedication to their trade that elevates them to luxury day spa.
Electrolysis of Hair Removal
As I said, I’ve done it all when it comes to hair removal services and that includes electrolysis of hair removal as well. I laughingly say sometimes, all I got from my grandmother was ingrown toenails and chin hairs. While that’s not the only thing I got from her, they’re definitely the ones that requires some upkeep. To remove those unwanted chin hairs or keep those eyebrows trimmed or basically to avoid the plucking of any hairs, then electrolysis is the way to go. Electrolysis targets each individual hair follicle, so this is best done on smaller areas vs laser hair removal which targets larger areas. Electrolysis also requires multiple sessions for complete hair removal, but once it’s gone, it’s gone for good.

Self-Care Day
Let’s talk self-care. For me, those self-care choices come from my mom. She always took care of herself. We need to take care of ourselves in order to be able to fully carry out the calling the Lord has given to each of us.
How We Came to Know About La Bella Spa
Before we moved to Florida, my mom had been getting skin care treatments for acne and rosacea at a very prominent place in New York City. Once we moved to Florida, we were living in a very small town with not a lot of services at our disposal. Especially not like what we were used to coming from New York. So, one of our friends told us about their family that owned a spa in Merritt Island. At that time, it was only a few rooms in a small office building. We went and checked it out and that was it. My mom found someone she knew and trusted to get the best skin care possible. And we’ve been loyal customers of La Bella Spa ever since.

So, when I turned 13, and the acne of puberty hit me, I also started getting regular facials and other treatments here.
